1. Before starting the beveling machine, check that there are no things affecting the operation of the machine near the operation area. The operator's hands and other parts of the body should be far away from the rotation range of the tool. Before starting, the blade shall not touch the pipe port, and the distance shall be 1-2mm.
2. Check whether the beveling machine itself is intact and whether the specification of the beveling machine is consistent with the size of the processed pipe. Whether the size of the fixed clamp block assembled on the beveling machine is consistent with the pipe specification. Whether the cylindrical surface of the clamping part on the pipe is smooth, whether there are convex burrs or sundries. If any, it shall be removed first. Also check whether the fracture of the pipe is a gas cut. If it is a gas cut, if there is a weld bead on the section, it shall be removed first.
3. Check whether the power line of the beveling machine is intact. If the insulating layer is damaged, it shall be handled first. If the power cord is not long enough, connect the terminal block first.
4. Install the beveling knife when the power supply is disconnected. The specification of the cutter shall meet the groove requirements. The tip of the cutter shall exceed about 2-3mm of the outer diameter of the pipe, and the blade part shall be 1-2mm away from the pipe end. Remember not to install the groove cutter upside down, and the blade shall not have a notch.
5. When the beveling machine is installed on the pipe, the clamping shall be reliable and shall not be loose. It is strictly prohibited to use extended casing for force application, otherwise the casing will be deformed too much, the perpendicularity of groove surface will be affected, and even the casing will be damaged and scrapped.
6. When the machine is shut down after the groove is completed, first cut off the power switch and unplug the plug. Loosen the compression screw to separate the beveling machine from the pipe, remove the cutter, clean the machine and put it back for standby.
